New Features Complement vs Compliment The English verb "to be" is the most common in the English language. It
has three conjugations in the present tense: am, are, is. The verb "to be" can be followed by an adjective, noun, preposition, or

Forum Discussion Meaning of the subjunctive in EnglishI know that in order to express will or volition, American English doesn't use "should" when British English does. However I would like to know if there is a difference in the meaning of the two formulas.
