Verbos ingleses: El presente

En inglés, hay solamente dos conjugaciones en el presente para todos los verbos excepto to be. Hay una conjugación para la tercera persona del singular y una otra conjugación para las otras personas.

Las conjugaciones son muy sencillas. Empezamos con el infinitivo:

To talk (hablar)

Deje la palabra "to," y tiene la conjugación para I, you, we y they.

Añade un S al final de la palabra y tiene la conjugación para he, she e it.

I		talk
you		talk
he		talks
she		talks
it		talks
we		talk
they		talk

Los verbos que se terminen en CH, O, S, SH, X y Z añaden ES para la 3ª persona del singular.

to go (ir)		to wash (lavar)
I	go	wash
you	go	wash
he	goes	washes
she	goes	washes
it	goes	washes
we	go	wash
they	go	wash

Para los verbos que se terminen en una consonante + Y, cambie Y a I y entonces añada ES. Pero si Y es precedido de una vocal, el verbo sigue la norma:

to study (estudiar)		to fly (volar)	to say (decir)
I	study	fly	say
you	study	fly	say
he	studies	flies	says
she	studies	flies	says
it	studies	flies	says
we	study	fly	say
they	study	fly	say

El verbo to have es irregular.

to have (tener)
I	have
you	have
he	has
she	has
it	has
we	have
they	have
