Esta lección explica como se conjugan los verbos ingleses en el presente simple (present simple).
Antes de continuar, sea familiarizado con la lección Introducción a los verbos.
En inglés, hay solamente dos conjugaciones en el presente simple para todos los verbos, menos
el verbo BE
y los verbos modales.

Fíjese que la tercera persona singular tiene un -s unido al verbo. Si no, las otras personas son iguales.

Para los verbos que terminan en -ch, -o, -s,
-sh, o -x, hay que añadir -es
a la tercera persona singular.

Para los verbos que terminan en -y precedido por una vocal, hay que añadir -s a la tercera persona singular.

Si el verbo termina en -y precedido por una
consonante, hay que
transormar la y en i y añadir -es.

Fíjese que el único cambio ocurre con la tercera persona singular. Todas las otras conjugaciones son iguales.
El verbo HAVE es irregular.

Fíjese que en la tercera persona singular, el -ve está reemplazado
