English Verbs: Present Tense
In English, there are only two conjugations in the present tense for all
verbs except to be. There is one conjugation for the
third person singular, and another conjugation for the other grammatical
persons.
The conjugations are very simple. You start with an infinitive, such as
to talk
Drop the word "to," and you have the conjugation for I,
you, we and they.
Add an S to the end of the word to find the conjugation for
he,
she and it.

| he |

| she |

Verbs that end in CH, O, S, SH, X and Z add ES
for the 3rd person singular.

For verbs that end in a consonant + Y, the Y
changes to I and then you add ES. But if the Y is preceded
by a vowel, the verb follows the normal rules:
| to study |
|
to fly |
|
